With the holidays just around the corner we have started to book up with clients who are looking for gorgeous and unique family portraits for holiday cards. The Sawhney family came to us for just that reason and were thrilled with the final results of their photoshoot. We began portraits down at Cardiff state beach…Jaxon and Jayden were FULL of energy and turned out to be total hams in front of the camera! We love the after sunset shots of the whole family on the rocks, the light is just so sweet about 10 minutes after the sun sets.

June 30, 2011It is one of our greatest joys to photograph the child of a couple whos wedding we photographed and that is the case with this little cutie. Her parents Annel and William were married a few years ago and we were so excited when we recieved a phone call from them letting us know that they had an adorable 1 year old who was in need of some 1st birthday photos. This cutie was great in front of the camera and we were able to capture her sweet innosense as well as her playful side.

The Brown Family | Baby Morgan
April 20, 2011Sherry and Micheal needed updated photographs of their 9 month old daughter Morgan and decided to have them taken here in our studio in Solana Beach. It was the first oppurtunity we had to use our beautiful new hand painted backdrop and we love how the images turned out! Morgan was such a sweet little baby who didn’t fuss at all but made us work VERY hard to get a smile out of her (All of the adults had to do funny dances and finally she cracked a smile!) It was so nice to meet the Brown family and we are looking forward to showing them the beautiful images from their studio session tomorrow!
In the past, our referral program has offered prints for any FUTURE photography, but this special event allows you to get more of the images you love from PREVIOUS photography!

The Boehm Family
March 23, 2011The Boehm family came into our studio while on vacation and asked if we would be able to photograph them before they left to go home. We planned a last minute photoshoot the day before they left and met them at the beach near their condo in Solana Beach. The day started out beautiful but as soon as we arrived to the shoot it started to drizzle…luckily for us its days like those, that allow us to create something unique and beautiful (we aren’t afraid of a little rain!) Between camera clicks we took cover underneath some nearby stairs and we ended up with some very fun and adorable photographs. Addison was such a trooper during the photoshoot and really didn’t seem to mind the rain. It was such a pleasure to meet the Boehm Family and we hope they’ll visit the studio again on their next trip to “sunny” San Diego.
The Knapp kids are back!
March 23, 2011Remember the Knapp family? You can see images from their photoshoot last year HERE . Sarah brought the kids back in this year to capture some images of the two kids together and of Bryans missing two front teeth. We had a blast in the studio and couldn’t believe how much Bryan and Carolyn have grown since 2010. We love our “clients for life” who really understand the importance of capturing important moments in their family history. Sarah and Jason plan on having us photograph their children throughout their life and we even talked about shooting Carolyns wedding someday….not anytime soon though, she isn’t even a teen yet!
The Ha Family
January 12, 2011Let us start by saying that Madison is a top contender in the cutest baby ever category. The Ha family came to us to capture some family images on the beach in Cardiff and after rescheduling their photoshoot (twice) because of rain, we FINALLY had a clear day. When we caught a glimpse of the sunset that night we decided it was worth the wait! It was so nice to meet the Thanya and Elbert and of course the adorable miss Madi. 
Slavin Family Portraits
December 6, 2010A few weeks ago we had the pleasure of photographing a good friend of ours Sean Slavin and his family. Sean is a photographer himself and was in need of some updated family portraits with his wife Becca and daughters Dillen, Roxy and Piper. Sean and his girls had a great time running around on the beach and we ended up with some beautiful portraits!
The Ortley Family | Cardiff State Beach
November 2, 2010The Ortley family wanted their portraits to be modern and different and decided to meet us under the bridge at Cardiff State Beach because they liked the rust and industrial feel of the spot. When the Ortleys arrived their three boys came piling out of the car and ran over to us with huge smiles…we knew right away this was going to be a wild and fun photo shoot! We love the portraits and candid images from the session and can’t wait for the Ortleys to see them at their premier on Friday.
