Jennifer & Vlad are so clearly in love that you can’t help but smile when you are around them. They won a contest we created with our neighbors here on Cedros called “Wedding by Cedros” where they won $30,000 in prizes and we can’t think of a couple more deserving then they are! We are so excited to be photographing their wedding in just two short weeks at The Powerhouse in Del Mar. Congrats Jennifer & Vlad!
Allyson and Cedric are an adorable who will be getting married a little later this year. They live downtown and wanted images around Seaport Village because that is where they often spend their time together. We started out in an adorable cupcake shop called The Frosted Robin Cafe and then strolled around the village with the happy couple using the many different textures and bright colors that the village has to offer. After witnessing the love between these two we are sure that they will happily ever after…

It was such a pleasure to photograph Emily and Marks intimate backyard wedding on Jan 29th at their home in Del Mar. The beautiful couple started things off at the studio with us for some traditional images and then we headed to their home for the actually ceremony. The ceremony was held in their backyard with only Kevin and I as guests and was a mixture of tears and some very hillarious moments. After the ceremony we spent about 2 hours around their home photographing the newlyweds before they headed out for their honeymoon. It’s very clear how in love these two are and we felt honored to be a part of their day!
Natalie and Jose are an adorable newly engaged couple who came to us for some creative and fun engagement photography. We started things off at Balboa Park in San Diego and ran around the place finding the perfect spots to take their portraits. We had so much fun with this couple and loved hearing the story about how on their first date Jose thought it would be a great idea to take Natalie to an all-you-can-eat seafood buffet. Luckily for him, she gave him a second date which eventually led to his proposal at the San Diego ZOO in January. We love the images from their E-Session and are looking forward to hearing more news about their upcoming wedding plans (which hopefully don’t include an all-you-can-eat seafood buffet.) Congrats you two!
These two chose a perfect night to head down to the beach for their engagement photos! Kari and Eddie are an amazing couple who are very much in love and looking forward to their wedding this year in Portland.
A few weeks ago we headed out to Clairemont to Absolute tattoo to start off Lynnie (the studio manager at Coast Highway Photography) and her fiance Nicks engagement photoshoot session with a little ink. The tattoo shop was amazing for photography and Nick and Lynnie both got wishbone tattoos which have become an important symbol to them after their recent move to California (ask them for the details…it’s a great story). Next they hoped in their 69 Ford Falcon with their english bulldog Mr. Pibbs and headed over to Belmont Amuesment park in Mission Beach to enjoy the rides. Overall the shoot was a blast and it was easy to see how in love these two are. Their wedding will take place in 2011 in Colorado and I am looking forward to shooting their day!
