Sherry and Micheal needed updated photographs of their 9 month old daughter Morgan and decided to have them taken here in our studio in Solana Beach. It was the first oppurtunity we had to use our beautiful new hand painted backdrop and we love how the images turned out! Morgan was such a sweet little baby who didn’t fuss at all but made us work VERY hard to get a smile out of her (All of the adults had to do funny dances and finally she cracked a smile!) It was so nice to meet the Brown family and we are looking forward to showing them the beautiful images from their studio session tomorrow!

In the past, our referral program has offered prints for any FUTURE photography, but this special event allows you to get more of the images you love from PREVIOUS photography!

The Boehm family came into our studio while on vacation and asked if we would be able to photograph them before they left to go home. We planned a last minute photoshoot the day before they left and met them at the beach near their condo in Solana Beach. The day started out beautiful but as soon as we arrived to the shoot it started to drizzle…luckily for us its days like those, that allow us to create something unique and beautiful (we aren’t afraid of a little rain!) Between camera clicks we took cover underneath some nearby stairs and we ended up with some very fun and adorable photographs. Addison was such a trooper during the photoshoot and really didn’t seem to mind the rain. It was such a pleasure to meet the Boehm Family and we hope they’ll visit the studio again on their next trip to “sunny” San Diego.

Remember the Knapp family? You can see images from their photoshoot last year HERE . Sarah brought the kids back in this year to capture some images of  the two kids together and of  Bryans missing two front teeth. We had a blast in the studio and couldn’t believe how much Bryan and Carolyn have grown since 2010. We love our “clients for life” who really understand the importance of capturing important moments in their family history. Sarah and Jason plan on having us photograph their children throughout their life and we even talked about shooting Carolyns wedding someday….not anytime soon though, she isn’t even a teen yet!

Roanna and Chris came to us a couple of weeks ago to have some portraits taken at dog beach in Del Mar. When we asked them the purpose of having these photos taken and they simply told us that they were in love and wanted to capture this moment in their lives together. That was a good enough reason for us so we headed out to dog beach for a beautiful sessions with Chris and Roanne, who is a former model for Helmut Newton (a very famous photographer in the 50’s and 60’s). The session ended with the couple dancing on the beach as the sun set.

It was such a pleasure to photograph Emily and Marks intimate backyard wedding on Jan 29th at their home in Del Mar. The beautiful couple started things off at the studio with us for some traditional images and then we headed to their home for the actually ceremony. The ceremony was held in their backyard with only Kevin and I as guests and was a mixture of tears and some very hillarious moments. After the ceremony we spent about 2 hours around their home photographing the newlyweds before they headed out for their honeymoon. It’s very clear how in love these two are and we felt honored to be a part of their day!

The Allen Family came to us right before the holidays in hopes that we could capture images of their son Wiley and dog Asha for some fun and creative holiday cards. The night was gorgeous and after creating that perfect image of Wiley in the santa hat we moved onto some beautiful images on the rocks and the stunning photo of Wiley and his dad standing near the water. The Allen Family had the last image printed in 47 images and it looked incredible!
